Celebrating the first 12 months of CRC 1624: Leading representatives of mathematics and theoretical physics meet and discuss at Hamburg University
From March 31 to April 2, 2025, the Collaborative Research Center CRC 1624, a cooperation of University of Hamburg, DESY and TU München, invited leading scientists in the field of mathematical physics from all over the world to Hamburg to discuss the latest developments in algebra and geometry as well as their connection to quantum field theory and string theory. Among the more than 100 participants of the international "Opening Conference on Higher Structures, Moduli Spaces, and Integrability" were many young scientists who have been conducting research on diverse subprojects in mathematics and physics in Hamburg and Munich since the CRC's launch in 2024. The CRC's work on the foundations of higher mathematics and the quantum world is funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
